Did you know that lawns are the largest crop in the US?

Did you know that your lawn takes 66% more water to grow than it would if you had a veggie garden?

Did you know what there are more chemicals used on private lawns than in industrial agriculture?

We have over 32 million acres of water sucking, chemical laden lawns, while our fruits and veggies are produced on about 16 million acres here in the US.   What this means is that we could grow enough produce to feed ourselves.

It’s time to rethink lawns and replace them with Food Forests. Find out more about what a good idea they are here and here.

We’ll be rolling out an Eat Your Lawn Program in 2020.  Sign up for our infrequent email list to keep updated on all our adventures. But in the meantime, here is some garden porn to wet your appetite and hopefully inspire you to consider the transition from water wasting, chemical laden lawn to lush food forest.

In the meantime, how about getting started with a 4×4 ft garden box or 5 gallon bucket and join our VICTORY GARDEN 2.0 GARDEN BOX AND BUCKET BLITZ?
