We hope you had, and continue to have, a grand holiday season, however you celebrate it! We, like the winter, have sort of pulled in and gone underground with the cold and rain and taking mental health days.

But we did not want the year to end without a short note of huge gratitude, appreciation and THANKS to each and every one of us in this community for making this organization what it is: a community that is starting to grow more food together!

Thanks to the volunteers, the folks who attended our events, who shopped at the Farmers Marketmobile, who got gardens, who grew food, who composted and shared the bounty of your gardens with others. Thanks to North Valley Community Foundation and Butte Strong Fund and our other partners for all their support in making our region more food secure. And THANKS those who graciously donated to our Giving Tuesday campaign . We set a high bar and almost made it to our full match and were so grateful to those who joined in the fun.

We’ll have a wrap up of all that’s happened ready to share in early 2022, but for now we just wanted to send this short note to let you know we think of you and you are in our hearts. We look forward to MORE: gardens, Marketmobile adventures, Farm to Fork dinners, classes and workshops, seeds and so much more (watch for a few new projects in the works dear to our hearts).

May 2022 be your BEST year yet! We are SO blessed to be in community with you.
